JRC Bright Ways
Brief History
In 2010, Bright Ways School Systems, Inc. (BWSSI) opened its first branch on a rented small duplex at block 116, lot 12 at the Bulaon Resettlement.
The school opened with 33 students and offered nursery, kindergarten, preparatory and grade one courses.
In three years, the school branch could not accommodate its learners’ population that it started looking for a new and bigger site. So, in January 2014, the school branch transferred to its present site which was then only the 350 sqm lot adjacent to the Bulaon Resettlement perimeter wall (behind Block 163).
During its building construction, the school also bought the front lot of 550 sqm as an anticipated expansion area. The school branch was incorporated as a separate entity on April 2, 2014 as the “JRC (for “Jesus the Risen Christ”) Bright Ways School of Bulaon, Inc.
The following year, the partners decided to close down its first school at Brgy. Panipuan school to concentrate on JRC BWS Bulaon because of the great potentials of the place. In 2016, the school started construction of the ground floor of the 550 sqm lot and opened it the following school year (its second floor and stage were finished the following year). Sensing the need for a bigger campus, Jorge H. Cuyugan requested his uncles Abelardo and Elias Miranda to reserve an adjacent 2.7 has. property at the back of its 550 sem. lot for the school for further expansion possibilities.

This is Latin for “Open up and listen.”. It simply means that one of the best ways to learn is to listen with an open mind.
While listening is the best way to understand what others are saying, it is more important that you should first “open up” (your mind), then “listen”.
This is what JRC Bright Ways students are asked to practice not only in school but wherever they may be. It will give them more knowledge not only of their lessons but also with their conversations with everybody. In this way, they will grow up not only as intelligent individuals, but also responsible and admired.

Message from
the President
Welcome to JRC Bright Ways School of Bulaon, Inc., the school we opened not only for millennial learners, but also for millennial parents and guardians!
We believe that traditional teaching methods are now hardly effective to today’s generation of parents and their children. If they are, they’re definitely not to the vast majority. At JRC Bright Ways School, we have come up with a blend of the past and present teaching modalities. We use the old schooling methods where our learners really learn discipline and their lessons; and the present where we also consider the “mood” of our learners to effectively stir their eagerness to learn and “love schooling”.
Furthermore, our learners’ Character Improvement Program also includes their Personality Development not only in school, but at home and in their community and aims to make them “amiable” citizens everywhere they are – a character mostly lost in today’s generation.
Millennials have been wrongly misinterpreted especially by our much older generations. We all know that it’s not the fault of their own and are just the victims of the environment that was created. If we do not help them, time will come when there will be no other people on this world except them and their good manners molded by JRC Bright Ways School.
